movie , our movie , their movie !!!!!!

While the state is discussing the impact of releasing big budget non kannada movies in a large number of  screens , thus depriving the localites their right to release , as a language  neutral talent appreciating true  kannadiga at heart , I silently watched raga and Bahubali .
Raga and Dhwani are few recent movies which I really think had the stuff to reach the audience but are struggling ..I liked both with few criticism but as a fan , the best I think I could do was to write a post with review and encourage people to watch them. You can't drag them with you anyways!!!
Although I agree that Kannada movies should be encouraged and given a chance , I don't put the blame on the other industries , theatre owners and distributors.
For them , it's just another business and they can't afford to lose money by running shows with 0 audience . They would rather ask the team to run it on rental and  bear the loss . Which at times is difficult for new comers .
Not that it is something as a recent trend but our emotional connect to namma Bhaashe eclipses everything else.we want our people to grow ( but how  is the question to be answered !!)
What does audience want ? It is just few hours of entertainment to lighten their heart and most of the times language doesn't matter .
What lacks at this moment is the propaganda ..even in this era of digital Media ? Surprising isn't it ? But that's the truth .. most of the new teams are facing the heat as they are unable to convert the shares ,views and likes on facebook and YouTube to the tickets in the movie theatres ..
Biggest challenge is to overcome this . Usually movies release on a Friday a weekend but most of the crowd prefer spending the time in a pub or a party ..
The key time  is bringing in the audience into the theatre house from Saturday noon till Sunday evening . Is this an ample time for a novoice ? Definitely not . Here talks the business which says that it cannot digest the loss incurred and hence moves the movie ..
so the movie is out of the theatres even before the good words reach the people . Most of the newspaper  reviews are read only after Saturday noon unless you are a movie buff of the highest order.
Now, who is to be blamed for this ? Everybody is right in their own way .
Team wants their work to be recognised , theatres cannot afford to lose money .
It's the time now to think of a solution ..
Is it distributing free tickets for the first few days?
Is it by conducting premier shows for the VVIPs and sharing their views   on social media?
Reserve budget for theatre rentals for couple of week ends?
Create a hype ?
Plan a strategy to realese it when there are no big banner movies?
Call up the Kannada flag bearers and ask them but tickets for their members ..
Your thoughts now.......
