!! Dil to baccha hain ji!!!

U like them adore them , respect them so much that u listen  to everything they tell you . for you, they are always right . U change urself for good..  U take their words very seriously .
Not necessarily that they should be elder to you or above you in the hierarchy of any field , the ego factor reaches zero ..
u turn out to be an obedient student , a small child..
U are a happy soul when u are with them . U don't hide anything. Rather, u feel better when u share ur happiness,  Sorrow and every damn thing happening in life ... u laugh, cry , pour your heart out ..
they listen to you , scold u , advise u , tease u , encourage u , support u , console you , help u and that feeling that they are with you pushes you to go and win the world . They are ur confidants . A child in you comes out when u are with them ..
Everybody searches for such a person and find them during different phases of life . It's not how early u find ,but how strong and depth is the bondage. They become part of your daily prayers .. you pray for their well being , you find your god in them .. their absence makes u weak.. don't loose them .. don't try to appease them . Don't attempt to give  an illogical reason .. accept them the way they are .
but who are "they"? It could be your parents , spouse ,teachers , siblings , relatives , or your own self , your sub conscious mind , ur intuitions !!!! !! It is something which is above and beyond all the limitations and constraints of life ...In simple terms call them A friend ,philosopher , guide and what Not!!!!!!!!

Sahore!!! Maahishmati

What is bahubali for me .? My analysis goes this way......

It is not Mahabharata , it is a story of the brothers and  reason for the fight is a woman.
It is not Ramayana , it is a story of lady warrior who gets married  kidnapped and becomes helpless ..
He is not even close to  a Mahakavi  , but screen play is written by one of the best directors of Indian cinema..
It is not the greatest ever movie , but a decent but great attempt by the entire team ...
Most of us knew why kattappa killed bahubali but I was more interested to know what forced rajamatha to get him killed ..
Story ,stunts physique and stature of amerendra bahubali is kind of a mixture of all the dheerodhaatta nayakas in our epics .for the newagers it is all the avengers in a single entity ..
I was more impressed by the performance of ballaLadeva , he looks like a figure created by taking a feature each from Duryodhana , jarasandha and Ravana ..Rana rocks !  Only problem with him I find is extensive use of mahapraana even when not needed :p
I can't think anyone else who could have better performed than Anushka and Ramya krishna In their respective roles.
Satya raj backed with Ravishankar's voice has given full justice to the role ..
Nazir yet again proves his versatility.
Keeravani has done a decent job ..
This movie can be applauded for its graphical excellence but loses points for unwanted war scenes .SSR doesn't forget to add that hero centric unrealistic typical Telugu type fights which are usually against the natural laws of physics ...
I don't think it would be too much for us to expect a strategy based and a bit realistic war scene in a Rajamouli's movie.. I am sure he wouldn't want this movie to be counted along with Balayya' s gautami putra shatakarni for its flaws..
Viewers don't land in boredom if the frame  changes frequently .. Its taken care of this fact in the first half of the movie , but second half is compromised ..
Instead of a  prolonged single frame fight of a large army , it would have been great if it were to be a one on one fight between the son and his uncle .. the 2 mighty ones ..
overall , it may not be a milestone creator  or a must watch movie but you won't regret if you do. It is a visual retreat belonging to the genre of  mythology , enriched  with the graphics and technology of high quality ..
There are several disconnects which can lead to criticism but understanding the time constraints ,few things need to be compromised..

movie , our movie , their movie !!!!!!

While the state is discussing the impact of releasing big budget non kannada movies in a large number of  screens , thus depriving the localites their right to release , as a language  neutral talent appreciating true  kannadiga at heart , I silently watched raga and Bahubali .
Raga and Dhwani are few recent movies which I really think had the stuff to reach the audience but are struggling ..I liked both with few criticism but as a fan , the best I think I could do was to write a post with review and encourage people to watch them. You can't drag them with you anyways!!!
Although I agree that Kannada movies should be encouraged and given a chance , I don't put the blame on the other industries , theatre owners and distributors.
For them , it's just another business and they can't afford to lose money by running shows with 0 audience . They would rather ask the team to run it on rental and  bear the loss . Which at times is difficult for new comers .
Not that it is something as a recent trend but our emotional connect to namma Bhaashe eclipses everything else.we want our people to grow ( but how  is the question to be answered !!)
What does audience want ? It is just few hours of entertainment to lighten their heart and most of the times language doesn't matter .
What lacks at this moment is the propaganda ..even in this era of digital Media ? Surprising isn't it ? But that's the truth .. most of the new teams are facing the heat as they are unable to convert the shares ,views and likes on facebook and YouTube to the tickets in the movie theatres ..
Biggest challenge is to overcome this . Usually movies release on a Friday a weekend but most of the crowd prefer spending the time in a pub or a party ..
The key time  is bringing in the audience into the theatre house from Saturday noon till Sunday evening . Is this an ample time for a novoice ? Definitely not . Here talks the business which says that it cannot digest the loss incurred and hence moves the movie ..
so the movie is out of the theatres even before the good words reach the people . Most of the newspaper  reviews are read only after Saturday noon unless you are a movie buff of the highest order.
Now, who is to be blamed for this ? Everybody is right in their own way .
Team wants their work to be recognised , theatres cannot afford to lose money .
It's the time now to think of a solution ..
Is it distributing free tickets for the first few days?
Is it by conducting premier shows for the VVIPs and sharing their views   on social media?
Reserve budget for theatre rentals for couple of week ends?
Create a hype ?
Plan a strategy to realese it when there are no big banner movies?
Call up the Kannada flag bearers and ask them but tickets for their members ..
Your thoughts now.......
